  1. I want to laugh. I want to cry as I sit here recalling my favorite song as an unbeliever
The very album, I broke in front of a group of my unbelieving friends at a party after becoming born again
I played the backward masking for them for myself
I made a grateful declaration as I broke that album over my knee
that I want nothing to do with this life, and to hear that song reborn with such magnificence, touches the depths of my very soul, an excitement has taken over
A powerful revealing to believers and the world that Jesus truly is Lord
    Thank you

  2. Well, now we know why the original music was written. It was written to glorify God today!
    That is just so beautiful.

  3. Didn’t care for the “original “ song. But this!!! Wish I was creative enough to create a better word than WOW. The picture of the Bride! That we(!) are Her – in Him! Thank you for sharing your vision.

  4. Stunning!! The two questions will be answered as one.
Let me start by saying I expected nothing. Truly. And yet.

Head to toe chills, serious chills like I do not usually experience that lasted for a bit, right from the start: “and she’s waiting to wed her true bridegroom.”

Lesser chills at: “Oooooh, it makes me praise Him”
“when He died on that tree, blood and water redeemed”
“and it makes me love Him”
“and they will reign forever and ever”

  5. Wow! I felt chills at different parts, especially the finale. I teared up a few times also with some of the lyrics and music.

  6. Very moving, brought tears to my eyes and worship to our King. Powerful, feeling Holy Spirit as listening to words!

  7. Amazing. I loved the original by Zeppelin, but this one is even better. A great remake! I felt chills several times.

  8. Wow, what an anointed song. I felt Holy Spirit tingles going through my brain and down my spine. Spectacular!

  9. One of the most exciting and all embracing songs that I’ve heard involving the inclusion of myself as a member of the Body of Christ. His bride.

  10. Very well done! I really felt the excitement that John the revelator must have felt when he saw the bride and Christ in his vision. The climax to the song really made the scripture come alive.

  11. 1. tears and watery eyes but crying at the end.
    2. especially after the 6.53 timestamp and beyond to the end

  12. I cried, sobbed, all the way through. The difference is this – I finally listened to your talk on God’s Eternal Purpose and now I see the real depth of this song. I can’t help but cry! Now that I really understand that we are the corporate Bride and we came from His side, I am dismantled in the most wonderful way! Thank you for this! 💖

  13. I felt the Holy Spirit on the back of my head sort of like a gentle wave at 3 points in the song. Timestamps around ~ 0:56 | 1:19 | 7:19

  14. After a long day today, and in a period of searching to know Him better over the last several months, this was a beautiful time of peace here in my small apartment….while I know we walk by faith and not by sight, the small chill I felt and the tears in my eyes made for a truly peaceful break from all my cares!

  15. 1. An overwhelming sense of peace…a small chill and watery eyes
2, Particularly from timestamp 3:00 through 3:39….thankfulness and praise

  16. #1 Tears–for the for the words that bring sheer joy as we wait in expectancy! Truly, I was amazed at the work–your words, her voice, the whole thing. Wow.

#2 She is the woman God has dreamed of before creation. That’s only one; there were too many to pick.

  17. I liked the sound, but I’m not as familiar with the original. I liked that it wasn’t rushed. I also like the bride motif, but I can’t pick just one section.

  18. This prophetic song has made me feel liable for not being eagerly awaiting the coming of the Bridegroom Jesus. It is impossible not to shed tears while listening!

  19. This was a played-to-death favourite as a teenager so, the minute the first couple of notes came and I knew what it was, that kicked my emotions into gear, so unexpected! But I could the sense His presence as I listened and read the lyrics. Such powerful lyrics and I love the interweaving of the scriptures. For me words matter a lot so watching them and listening is helpful, without the distraction of anything – just the blue background, so helpful.
I had tears on and off throughout but in particular felt the rush of tears, which for me is often Holy Spirit at work, with the lines that I have pasted here:

This is how the Lamb receives the reward of his suffering (I know it’s not really the lyrics at that point!)

By His word she is sure where she came from
Found in Christ before the whole world ever came into being
And a new day will dawn for all who stood long

Then I felt the shift of pace as it were because it resonated with where we are so these then resonated deeply:

She is the woman God has dreamed of before creation
The Spirit’s calling her to join Him
Dear lady can you sense his nearness? He’s been waiting.
The Lamb is ready to appear now (Wow, these two lines!)

I have mentioned the lyrics but the power of the scriptures woven into the lyrics cannot be underestimated as verses that I have read many time hit me anew.
    Thank you for this!

  20. Tears and only tears, from minute 4:30. When everything has been lost, only Jesus remains. He is my home.

  21. I have listened several times and I sense the nearness/presence/glory of the Lord during the entire song. Especially felt chills min 5:58 when Matthew 24:30 and Rev 1:7 were put on the screen and then at 7:35 “one with Him at last, bride is ready for the Lamb” such an incredible song. Thanks for sharing.

  22. A masterpiece. Tears were flowing. What a wonderful way to take an epic melody (one of my favourites) and give it new meaning and eternal relevance. Thank you for making my day.

  23. “By his word she is sure where she came from” – I felt the power in this line. Watery eyed for a moment, and then courage filled my heart.

“And the spirit is crying for marriage” – I felt a deep sense of love at this line and the affection and longing of God

“There stands a lady we all know/and all within her turns to gold” – Pure happiness! Joy at the realization that this woman is us.

  24. I felt the Spirit all throughout the song, one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. “With His presence, she shows forth His nature.“ That one especially!

  25. Overall a wonderful song! Different from many standard Christian songs sung in churches today. Most don’t think about us as a ‘lady in waiting’. Christ has done it all, He has clothed us in white for those to believe in Him.

If you sensed/experienced God’s presence while you watched and listened, explain the experience.

Listening to this confirms to me. “IT IS FINISHED”. We are in a waiting period to join Him forever and what a day that will be! The song made me want to celebrate and dance! I enjoyed reading verses in between the music that connects to this song. We are…..SECURED in HIM forever..AMEN!

What specific part of the song provoked this sense, experience, or reaction?

They all made me want to dance but the part that slowed me down to realize the magnitude of His LOVE for us was this: “oooh…it made me praise him”! I also LOVED this lyric: “She’s the pearl of great price, a dear treasure to Christ and the Spirit is crying out for marriage”. That’s deep. You don’t think about the Spirit crying out for marriage, after all the Spirit is longing for union with Christ.

Thanks for all your podcasts, my husband and I enjoy listening to them very much. Very thought provoking podcasts that speak the Truth. Keep them coming!

  26. A profound sense of the beauty of Christ. Most notably at the white garments think it was 4:40 and near the end as she’s waiting to wed her true bridegroom. Definitely watery eyes, tight throat, sensing the glory of what that moment will be like, and how much of it taste we’ve already received.

  27. A depth of heart, but a lightness of soul, as if the Holy Spirit Himself was leaping within me, at “when she is one with Him at last”

  28. Towards the end, starting at -1:26, I liked the vocals better on previous RotA version. On that earlier release, her voice “changes”to have a more raw powerful delivery effect. It gave me goose bumps then but not now with this new homogenized climax.

  29. I was listening to the Podcast while riding a stationary bike at the gym. On the way home I listened to the song. I could not stop crying. Once at home I share it with my wife, and again it brought me to tears.
